Happy Saturday! Since we are on the topic of introducing solids, here are some of my must haves for feeding!

jennag-logo  When I found myself living in a small space with white décor, I needed something that was going to take up minimal space and that    didn’t stick out like a sore thumb. The problem I have found with many highchairs is they their foot print is very large when they are open and are unattractive in the corner when they aren’t being used. The Bloom Nano highchair solved all my problems! It has a sleek look that fit in beautifully with the décor when it was open and it closes like a folding chair that makes it easy to store out of view. It is so easy to wipe down after each feeding and the straps are easy to remove to throw in the machine every once in a while. I just love this highchair and all of the bright colours it comes in (even though white suited my needs best this time!) You can purchase this highchair here.

jennag-logo This time around, I decided to make all of my own baby food. While it seemed completely unmanageable when I had my son, I found a product that convinced me to try this time and I am so glad I did! In 3 easy steps, I not only made all of my own baby food, but I made by own baby food pouches! With the Fresh Squeezed Squeeze Station by Infantino, you simply:

1. Boil/Steam
Boiling peas

2. Blend

Blended Peas

3. Press homemade food into package

Preparing Pouches

This product allowed me to broaden my daughters palate by incorporating foods into pouches I wasn’t finding  ready-made in store! Check out the Infantino Fresh Squeezed line here and purchase it here.

jennag-logo Before you are ready for a highchair, the Summer Infant SuperSeat 3-in-1 Booster is great! Not only does it assist your child in sitting up when they are not able to do so on their own, it also doubles as an activity chair. So while you are getting your babys food ready, you can gain a few extra minutes by knowing your baby is entertained. Easily turn the tray from toys to the feeding tray. Once your baby has grown out of playing in the chair, attach the provided strap to the base which allows you to attach the base to any chair. Enjoy having your child sit at the table with you in this seat!

jennag-logo The choice of sippy cups out there can make you crazy and you will likely find yourself buying one of every kind out there until you find the one that fits! We are loving weighted sippy cups with straws right now! Since your little one doesn’t have to lift up the cup to get water, they are less likely to get soaked! These cups are amazing, because the weight moves the straw so that they can drink every last drop! Try either the:
